Common name: Antarctic Snaggletooth. Scientific name: Borostomias antarcticus. Family: Astronesthidae.

Antarctic Snaggletooth: Usually found deeper than 500m during the day. Feeds on midwater fishes and crustaceans. Grows to about 30cm.  Southern Ocean from 35°S to 65°S.
