Our colleagues over at the CSIRO News blog are currently running a feature on some of our scientists, who are also mums, in the lead up to Mother’s Day.

This week our Deputy Head of ATNF Operations, Kate Brooks, was profiled about her everyday work- and home-life.

According to Kate, she was attracted to CSIRO for the opportunity of working at an international observatory on a job that offered her a mix of research as well as support and development work for state-of-the art telescopes.
