Teacher Workshops, 3 – 5 May, 2013 Parkes Observatory

This is a wonderful opportunity for educators to develop their knowledge and skills in astronomy at the iconic 64-metre Parkes radio telescope. Over three days teachers will hear about the latest research in astronomy, tour The Dish, trial classroom activities, learn new approaches to teaching astronomy and how to run a viewing night while networking with colleagues and professional astronomers.
